In the Beginning
There was inspiration in the unlikely setting of Junction Texas at Texas Tech's Summer Campus where Bob Mosier taught our first class, July 1994.
Beginning Glassblowing, Junction, TX First Blown Glass 4" Tall
Reality set in when we realized that glassblowing started with building equipment. The empty studio was filled with refractory brick, castible, fiber blanket, angle iron and power tools. Cutting, chopping, welding, grinding, stacking, and mixing commenced in November 1994. Four months later we were melting glass.
